Celebrating 29 Years of Faith and Service

In August 2025, Sister Maureen marked a remarkable milestone: 29 years of religious vows. For nearly three decades, she has dedicated her life to God, education, and the spiritual growth of children.

A Life Dedicated to Catholic Education

Sister Maureen’s calling began with a deep desire to teach in Catholic schools, inspired by her father, a teacher and parish catechist. Over 27 years as a religious sister, she has served as a teacher, religion coordinator, and guidance counselor.

As principal of St. Joseph Catholic School in Baytown, Sister Maureen leads with compassion, vision, and a commitment to individualized education. She creates a safe and supportive environment where every child can thrive academically and morally.

Under her leadership, St. Joseph remains a beacon of Catholic identity, emphasizing values like love, respect, and responsibility.
